![]() It's not easy to figure out who's where, doing what, why, and to whom. There's nowhere you can go and look for yourself to simply see what's happened. However, it is obscured in a very real "fog of war" with both sides trying to spin defeats into non-events (or even victories) and victories into conquests. ![]() Okay, I've been trying to follow this conflict since the thread started. I will periodically insert my own clarifactions and/or content into his recorded posts in red. I would have asked his permission, but it seems that you need to be registered with the MMO City of Heroes to register for their forums, and it isn’t free. The following is pasted from different sources, the vast majority of it copy-pasted from user Human_Being of the City of Heroes forums (apparently a different MMO). Recently, I found a link to a guy in a forum who is doing an excellent job of describing the action, and generally being a war correspondent for a game that he doesn't play. Intrigued, I read on, and found quite an interesting story. Probably a week ago at this point, I saw a story on reddit, about how one of the most powerful alliances in eve was disbanded by a doublecrosser. #1 As most of us are gamers, I think that we’re generally interested in other games, even if not quite as much as our beloved starcraft.
